Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend React Developer with around 2 years of experience to join our product engineering team. You will build user-facing features, craft reusable components, and help improve the performance and accessibility of our web applications.
This is a collaborative, hands-on role where you will work with designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, production-ready features and participate in code reviews and testing efforts.
Responsibilities
• Implement responsive, accessible UI components and pages using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Translate designs and interaction specs into reusable components and patterns.
• Manage component/state logic using React Hooks and state management solutions (Context API, Redux, or similar).
• Write unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) to maintain high code quality.
• Optimize performance, bundle size, and render efficiency for web applications.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and QA to plan and deliver features iteratively.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and follow best practices for maintainability.
• Troubleshoot bugs, monitor production issues, and implement fixes with attention to user impact.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, build tooling, and project documentation.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years building production web applications with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern React (functional components, Hooks).
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with state management solutions (Context API, Redux, MobX, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library (or similar).
• Proficient with Git and common development workflows (feature branches, pull requests).
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs or GraphQL backends.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and basic accessibility (WCAG) principles.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: TypeScript experience, knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Vite), and prior exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
