Job description
Overview
We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to join our engineering team and help build delightful, reliable, and accessible web experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver features that meet business and user needs.
What You’ll Do
• Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript and component-driven frameworks.
• Create reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system.
• Translate designs and wireframes into working features while balancing UX and technical constraints.
• Integrate frontend code with RESTful or GraphQL APIs and manage client-side state effectively.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and follow CI/CD practices to maintain high-quality code.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks; apply best practices for load times and rendering.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and implement progressive enhancement.
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional troubleshooting.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of frontend development experience building production web applications.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) skills and hands-on experience with React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript and modern tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and CSS-in-JS or preprocessors like Sass.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and testing-library implementations.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of web performance, cross-browser issues, and accessibility (WCAG) principles.
• Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript and component-driven frameworks.
- Build reusable UI components and design-system patterns to ensure consistency and accelerate delivery across products.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional features.
- Integrate frontend components with backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs, handling state, caching, and error states clearly.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow established CI/CD practices to ensure high code quality.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, including performance profiling and front-end best practices.
- Ensure products meet accessibility (WCAG) standards and implement progressive enhancement strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, monitor production issues, and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to technical planning, and help refine estimates and deliverables.
