About the Role
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join a collaborative engineering team building reliable, scalable business applications. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and full-stack features that drive user value and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate takes ownership of features from design through deployment, partners closely with product and QA, and contributes to technical decisions that improve performance, security, and maintainability across the codebase.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET-based web applications and APIs using C#, .NET (Core/.NET 6+), and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and robust user-facing features.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and ensure consistent, secure integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Work with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM tools such as Entity Framework to design schemas, write efficient queries, and optimize performance.
• Write automated unit and integration tests; follow test-driven development (TDD) practices where appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and advocate for best practices in architecture, coding standards, and documentation.
• Deploy and maintain applications using CI/CD pipelines; monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in collaboration with DevOps or SRE teams.
• Apply secure coding practices, perform threat modeling, and help remediate security vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
• Continuously profile and optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to technical design documents, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning to support long-term product goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with C# and the .NET platform (including .NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and building RESTful services.
• Proficient with relational databases such as SQL Server and experience using Entity Framework or similar ORMs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and mocking libraries; familiarity with integration and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and one modern framework (Angular, React, or Vue) is a plus.
• Experience with source control (Git), branching strategies, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
