Job description
About the Role
We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to help build and operate our cloud platform that supports scalable, secure, and resilient services. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate delivery, improve reliability, and reduce operational toil while helping shape platform strategy.
What You’ll Do
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Operate and scale containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing to provide end-to-end observability.
• Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability through tooling and runbooks.
• Participate in incident response, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers to design secure, cost-efficient cloud architectures.
• Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native patterns.
• Hands-on Terraform or CloudFormation experience.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (or managed K8s services).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong Linux administration, networking, and scripting skills (Python/Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and secrets management.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.
Why Join Us
You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values reliability, automation, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to shape our platform, influence engineering practices, and make a measurable impact on product delivery and customer experience.
Responsibilities

- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Build, operate, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (or managed K8s services).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (metrics, traces, logs) to ensure system health and to drive continuous improvement.
- Automate routine operational tasks and improve system reliability through tooling, runbooks, and playbooks.
- Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement mitigations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with development teams to design secure, cost-efficient architectures and optimize cloud usage.
- Enforce security best practices across the delivery lifecycle, including secrets management, IAM, and vulnerability scanning.
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely support for production issues.
Key skills
AWS (or GCP/Azure), Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux systems administration, Scripting (Python, Bash), Cloud security & IAM, Collaboration & communication
